How's everything going over here peeps?

Now that the IFCA dust has had a chance to settle I wondered what you guys were all up to? Are any of EZT planing on coming over to i-racing full time? They have a 3 month trial offer on for $5 right now, so it's a good chance to give it a go.

I am having so much fun on it it's rediculous! I am clocking 30+ hours a week on it and could spend all day every day if I could lol!

Been runing the Radical SR8 in my first season proper for the past 5 weeks ( 12 week series) and am 10th overall, which i'm VERY happy about. Am now able to run the car about 1 second per lap away from world record time, and more importantly run clean races.

Last weekend I got my Oval licence up to whare I can now run the Silverado trucks, wich I start tomorrow. Will be able to run with the 2 Brandons, although weather or not we will be grouped together or not remains to be seen as our i-ratings are very different. I neaver imagined the oval racing could be so good, but it's adictive..

I can tell you one thing though, if you can beg steal or borrow enough money to build a half decent P.C and get this sim you will be in racing heaven my friends!

Hope to see some of you make the jump over the coming months, but if not will still pop in from time to time and may even get to race on forza 4?

Thank's Brandon, I will start testing tomorrow when the new track goes up and try some of the tunes from the forum first, but will hit you up if need be. I have been in some hosted races in the truck recently and done ok, but tomorrow it's for real lol.

One thing i'm worried about thou is that because i have been fairly consistant in rubing the Legends, I have built up an oval i-rating 0f 1900and this will put my in the 4th split with a lot of A class licence holders so i'm going to have a very tough start to trucks.

Will just use the rest of the season to find my way and learn what i need to learn and by the start of S2 I can go for it, who know's maybe i will be up to B class and can skip right to the Impala's with you big boys

Yes it is very exciting, if ur irating is about 1900-2000 then u will probably be running with sh. I think his irating is about 2000 now. TBH dont rush coming up higher then c class, the b and a class dont get as many people as c class. One race with c class we had over 200 people sign up for it, a and b class is lucky if they have over 25 per race. But this track is a blast which is phoenix.

I raced Casper today in the Silverado series (I say raced in the loosest turms as he is a bit of a rocket in these things) but they are fun and am enjoying my first week in them.

lol, I saw u buddy, I was pretty pissed because I finished 5th was in 4th until the last turn. What happened to u? Did u wreck?

Yep got turned but still bagged 11th I think so, so not to harsh on the irating.

Just had a good race in the 8.45 using your set up though, worked my way up to 2nd at one point and then lost it in turn pushing for a win lol.

Great track though Brandon and now with your set I can have some real fun. Back in the trucks on friday mate as i run the radical tomorrow and saturday.

When you gonna get your ass over to road then? Maybe when the GT40 arrives or the LMP1? lol

Come and run the Vette in the mixed class that i do with the radical, it's good fun. Or the MX5 / Jetta...

Yea, I have mainly all the cars and tracks now. Just need to work on some road side. Which I can see this week, i will. Almost to C class.

Its whenever as far as the road courses, but problem is by the time I get on during the day its pretty late for u but we will see how it works out

I am on very late both friday and sat (till 3am ish) but TBH the MX5 and jetta series split from 2pm al lthe way to 10pm saturdays and it's grids of 30!

I am taking this week as a drop week though to give me some time to get the trucks off the ground but will be back next week.

Allso there is a massive SOF race at midnight monday/tuesdy GMT ( first race of the week) that everyone does without quali too. TRC scooty is leading the MX5 side and Ryan Temestara TRC ? (cant rem) is leading the Jetta, I think a couple of the V12 boys are in it too but forgot there names lol.

So yeah anyway hopefully we can help/push each other a bit and have some fun.

I will be doing an artical for the VVV website next month re my first few months on iracing with a view to giving peope a good insite about what to exspect. Would be good to get both your thoughts over the coming few weeks.

Too bad we can't get some Speedway help in Forza from you guys. Our team needs some speedway training with controlers.
I need a good drafting partner that can run smooth lines.
Trooper and Xcess are coming along very good now. Xcess may have a chance to make the "A" room this week.
If Exciled races, then There may be 3 of us in the A Room.
Exciled and I need to practice drafting also.

good to know, looking forward to another iracing teammate

A lot of guys use the Logitec DFGT wheel as it's as good as the G25 but has lots of buttons that you can re-map for all those in car functions such as lap delta and the miriad of functions that you would normally need the keyboard for.

Casper I have not run trucks this week as my two road series are at Zandvoort and I love the tack. I may or maynot run this week though depernds on time.

Feel free to drop me a line on the iracing forums if you intend runing the MX5 or Jetta this week and we can get together with SH too

Ok cool, it was kinda the same way with me and the trucks, ran at pocono and I love that track.

Yea the fact that i have started half way through there season in the trucks means it's not to bad if i miss some weeks, as long as i am up to speed for S2

Of course another issue is tha purchase of tracks, and iv's got one or two more to get on the road side and then can work on oval.

Looks like the new LMP1 car will run with the new GT40 and the Vette in an official ALMS series towards the end of the summer along with the updated tyre model so you guys need to be up to B licence by then so we call be all over that

Yes was the same for me mate D class takes time but just run clean and build your irating so you get put in the higher splits and you have less chance of getting wrecked.

VVV Hellbringer sent me a message on Facebook and is seriously considering joining iracing!
