EZT MOTORSPORT presents Series Organizer: EZT Spartan Series Support Team: EZT bobwithajob, EZT Axe and EZT Tomcat7
Sundays: 18:00 CST / 19:00 EST / 00:00 GMT (midnight) (times taken from www.worldtimezone.net)
EZT MOTORSPORT events are catered for fun, clean, competitive racing. All skill levels are welcomed and encouraged to participate. All we ask is that you are committed to the event. This means, if you sign up an event, you should complete it.
In 2000, the Cobra R returned for a production run of 300 with a 5.4L DOHC engine (6500 rpm redline) that was rated at 385hp (287 kW) and 385 lbf·ft (522 N·m) of torque. As before, this model was designed to be a race-ready high-performance vehicle in a perfectly street legal package; as such, it lacked many of the comforts the base production line Cobra enjoyed . This model had no radio/audio equipment, no air conditioning, no cruise control and no rear seat. Each of the 300 produced featured a charcoal interior with cloth clad Recaro buckets and sporting a Performance Red exterior.
Each EZT Mustang Cobra R Five 100s car has been modified from the street legal race spec to a full sport race spec.
Its meager internals stripped out and it’s now fitted with a full roll cage and race approved seats and fittings - resulting in a lowering of its weight from 3589lbs to 2984lbs. The already aggressive stance has been enhanced by the use of stiffer lowering springs and custom shocks lowering it by another 1/2” and further stiffened by the use of hollow ARBs and polyurethane bushings. As a pure track car the V8’s output has been increased from 385hp to 420hp by the use of a bespoke race exhaust. Upgraded brakes, clutch, drivetrain, flywheel, gearbox and diff have also been installed for increased safety and performance. Cervini's body kit, full race adjustable rear wing and 18” FIKSE wheels with race rubber finishes off the package.
Ready to race.
Ready for the EZT Mustang Cobra R 5Hundreds!
This event will see you racing an S-class Ford Mustang Cobra R, built to a set build, in five 100mile races at Americas most prestigious tracks. Sign-up period begins Monday, 29th October, and closes Sunday, December 16th - the first race is Sunday, November 18th
THE CAR

TEAMS
You do not need to be in a team to participate, but teams are supported. A team must have 3 drivers who must all drive the same car, with the 2 best point scoring drivers contributing to the team for that race meeting. Teams are frozen when the Sign-up period has closed, or when a driver runs his first race. Team points are based off the regular points scheme, with a permitted dropped result from your final total.
QUALIFYING
Please be online and ready to qualify at least 10 minutes before 18:00 CST / 19:00 EST / 00:00 GMT (Mon). All drivers will have received an invite from their room host so that qualifying will start on the hour sharp . If you do not receive an invite by the hour, please inform the Series Organizer or Support Staff.
Qualifying will take place on the hour, and you will have 5 laps to set your best certified lap. Please space out on the opening lap to give each other room so you can all have clear, unimpeded qualifying laps. Any drivers that lagout, damage their car or leave the session, will have their best time used as displayed by the results screen. No driver is to drive backwards around the track. Once the 5th lap is over please wait at the first corner of the following lap where your host will collect your qualifying times.
CERTIFICATION Each driver must have a certified lap achieved on their first lap. A slow cautionary lap must be carried out by every driver, staying on the track and away from the grass, curbs and walls. If your lap becomes uncertified, you will have to sacrifice another lap to achieve this very simple task, so go slow and be careful. All uncertified times will be placed behind certified times in order of fastest to slowest
(Collisions: OFF, Damage: Limited, TCS: OFF, STM: OFF)
RACE NIGHT
Race Night will begin once Qualifying is completed and the times collected and ordered. All drivers will get an invite from their room host. Each room will begin with a quick 1 lap race where drivers will finish in the correct position to which they are to start the main race for the gridded start. The room host will then order the grid by lobby points.
There will be mandatory pit stops in this series. There will be a set pit window mid race and all drivers must pit within that window. For example, if the pit window is 11-15 the first lap that you can officially pit will be 11 and the last will be 15. Pitting outside this window for damage etc. does not count toward your official pit stop. Failure to pit within the window will result in a time penalty. The pit window is track dependant so all drivers must make sure that they are aware of the pit window for that track.
RESTARTS These can only occur if the following happens: - A driver lags out within the first 3 laps - Racing collision involving 4 or more cars within the first 3 laps - Large lag related crash within the first 3 laps
(Collisions: ON, Damage: Limited, TCS: OFF, STM: OFF)

If there are less than 16 racers but more than 12, and more than 1 racer cannot connect, continual lobby lagouts or the lobby just keeps disintegrating, then the room will be split into two lobbies. The above rule will not stand and the race result will be based on the finish lap times of each individual racer.

CONNECTION CONFLICTIONS If you cannot connect to your race room, you will receive last placed points for your qualifying room upon completing the Connection Confliction procedure stated below. This will be for the first 2 conflicts only, upon which you will then only receive overal last placed points.
LIVERY
Once officially signed up, you will then be gifted the EZT Mustang Cobra R 5 Hundreds template. This template should be on top of a livery of your choosing. However, it should be tactful and race themed. You should only change the vinyl shape of the numbers in the race plaque to that of your own car number—font and color do not change. Your car number should also appear on both sides (mid door) and on the roof. The size, shape, colour of the numbers are up to you (re NASCAR cars) but should be clearly distinguishable from your livery. Locations of the race plaque, URLs (color can be altered if necessary for your livery),do not change. Again, this template must appear on top of your design as shown below.
Teams must run the same paintjob, although differences such as displaying gamertags and nationality flags are permitted. If there is more than 1 team from a club for example, then you may run the same design but have different base paints or colours to show the difference. If desired, drivers within the same team may use different color side-view mirrors.
END OF SERIES PRIZES 1st = 2,500,000 CR 2nd = 1,500,000 CR 3rd = 1,000,000 CR 4th = 500,000 CR 5th = 250,000 CR 6th = 150,000 CR 7th = 100,000 CR 8th = 50,000 CR
Teams Championship = 1st Place - 1,200,000 CR Privateers Championship = 1st Place - 750,000 CR
ADDITIONAL INFO
Random car inspections will occur to prevent cheating. If your car does not match the required stats, you are excluded from the series. Out of 5 races, your best 4 results will count towards the final standings. This means you can miss a round and still be in contention.
You are required to have a microphone plugged in during the race meeting, otherwise how can we communicate?
It is recommended you save Replays. This may help rectify disputes.
You cannot cut corners. Racing is done on the track only. Anyone caught cutting will face anything from a time penalty, grid penalty or DQ.
CONNECTIONS
Your connection is YOUR responsibility. You must ensure it is the best it can be. This includes : - turning off all other equipment using the internet during a race - being wired instead of wireless when possible === when wireless, making the signal strength the best it can be as denoted by the dashboard - finally as a last resort, resetting all equipment
It is highly recommended to get your NAT to appear OPEN (found on your dashboard). If you cannot connect properly on race day, then it will not be delayed. Conflictions with other racers preventing access to rooms will need to be sorted by those in question, and those 1 or 2 racers will need to sort their problems, or they will not be allowed to race. The person with the better qualifying will be allowed to race, as long as he does not conflict with others. It is strongly recommended to get online 30 mins before race time to work out any connection problems.
Confliction on Race Night
If there is a confliction for your race room, you must find out who the confliction is with: a) Room Host invites all his players to room b) Driver who can't get in then opens a new room (correct settings) c) He invites everyone in d) Whoever can't get in is where the confliction is e) From these 2 drivers, the one with the better qualifying will be allowed to race
This process should not take longer than 5 minutes.
TEAM OFFICIALS/RACE STEWARDS
If you have any questions or queries regarding any aspect of the series, get in contact with the Series Organiser and Support Team. Alternatively, Race Stewards are available. Either PM them on the forum or send them a message on XBL. Don't send a friends request - it won't be accepted if we don't know you, or we don't have room. A message will be read though!

FINALLY...
Communicationis key! With Limited damage, chances cannot be taken that will risk other drivers. These are long races and no-one's race should be ruined by someone else's mistake.

| As it seems that there are no teams ie groups of two or three, have applied then the option to run either privateer or team will at this time be withdrawn. All will now run as privateers and prize fund allocation shall be altered to suit.
In the unlikely event that two or more teams sign up then this may be reviewed. |
