Not much chatter here, guess we're playing this one close to the vest?

There seems to be quite a few series on the go at various sites so I guess people are otherwise busy.

How are the times doing?

Down in the mid 2:19's. Still deciding on my gear setup though.

I got 18.0 with another. 5 out there last night. Using 4 gear setup.

Quick session got me 18.3s.
Full 6 gear setup.

Down into the mid 2:18's with a 6 gear set up. Still not totally satisfied with the gearing. 4th is a little boggy I think. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to entertain them.

:?:About time from the other side - we must be as fast as possible, because of hour of start of the US GP in Formula One. On this sunday we have first US GP from bilion of years. And... what? I'm seriusly hestitate...

The F1 race will be long finished before this race.
F1 starts at 2pm EST and this race is at 7pm EST

F1 will be epic this weekend. I have not done any practice. Gonna WING it!

Today there are two reasons to envy you in US. First - because of great Formula One GP in Austin (TX). (Alonso still have the chace for title.) And second one - because of time zone. The great idea of competition in fantastastic Cobra R, may begins without me. I thought that can stand on my feet in this "middle of the middle" night... In Poland will be 3 AM when race begins... I can't... Have good competition guys... Goodnight.

Sorry to hear that - hope you can make some other races and see you on the track again sometime.

Lagged out on lap four. What a disappointment! Was having a good time. OH well, on to next week.

What a race...good battle with WarEagle early, he pulled away and left me to scrap with Spartan thru the middle of the race, then the final 10 laps I reeled WarEagle back in and we had an awesome final lap featuring 3 passes.

Very happy with 4th place and running the third quickest lap!

If someone could send me a replay, I will put together a video of this event.

Had great time with War Eagle staying just close enough in first half to keep me worried and on my toes. Second half just focused really hard and turned even faster laps getting some distance between us. Was devasted and elated when Virality lagged out.

Total crap! If bob and myself did not lag out we would have had an awesome race with wheel wash. I lagged out just after overtaking wheel on lap 17

Even though my wheel died, I still really enjoyed the race. This car is going to be a blast to drive for the series. Great job on the build Spartan. And Nice to see you back in the mix Eagle!

Thanks Strum, and thats crap about those that lagged out.

Whether the lag-outs were to do with a lobby of 15 or whether it would have happened anyway, we'll never know. But it was awesome to look back from the front and see all those cars lined up behind - wow!

My own race was a mixed bag.
Running wide on lap 1 lost me quite a few places but I managed to pull a few back as the race went on.
After pitting I came out infront of MOPAR. Unfortunatelly, after a few laps, there was a coming together at the first corner which lost us both time.
I spent the next half of the race slowly catching up to Jay.
Then on the last lap I was right on his bumper going into the kink. There was a small jitter which may have been lag but it caused me to throw my line, run wide which resulted in WskeTango, who been dogging my mirrors for many laps, to get passed.

Still, by the sound of it, everyone seemed to enjoy last nights race

Roll on next week, its going to be crazy!

Really enjoyed the Road America race. A lot of mini-battles going on within the field. Great build on the Cobra, and the 100 mile length adds to the fun. Good job, Spartan - gonna be an enjoyable series.

It's one thing to view the race via Hood View. Some of the race can be seen going on in front of you and a little going on behind, if you're not the tail of the field. But, watching the replay, it was cool to watch the field go by as the replay came to my car (I use that default view displaying different angles). Nice job, Spartan!! This is going to be a blast!

Gutted that I missed this race. Love the car and this track has become one of my fav's . Work has been kicking my arse royally, just got home from work with a 13 hour day! Great to have the work and in order to play hard you have to work hard. Hence what I have to do. Ill be back in action soon hopefully.

Sorry again about the hit Spartan. I just spaced out completely while drafting.


Have to say though, I was glad the race ended when it did as another lap or 2 and Wheelwash would have been on my doors.

If wheelwash was catching you and i had passed wheelwash before laggin out.... That means i potentially could have mixed it up with Mopar? Man what an utter disappointment that first race was. Car was awesome and race distance was perfect... 15 in a lobby was awesome too. I hope more people sign up.
