TORAus StockHatch Series 2 - Announcement

Series 2 will see an increase in weight, horsepower, and makes and models of cars.  Drivers will choose between five different cars from different manufacturers, with each car having multiple build possibilities for the drivers to discover and test to the find the all important combination for ultimate success! 

Racing on Mondays at 20:30 EST / 01:30 GMT / 09:30 West OZ, the series will visit a variety of American tracks that will test each of the cars individual qualities to the maximum.  First off the line will be central-California's Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway.  Next, Series 2 will head to the City of Angel's, Los Angeles, and the streets of Long Beach.  From Los Angeles, the Series heads east to Elkart Lake, Wisconsin, for what will be one of the longest races of the series at Road America.  Week 4 takes place at the host track of the Greatest Spectacle in Motorsports--Indianapolis Motor Speedway and its classic gran prix circuit.  The next stop takes the Series to New York state's beautiful and picturesque Finger Lakes region and home to Watkins Glen.  The final three races head to the Southeast with two night races--the first at Sebring International Raceway Week 6 and the second at the short circuit of Daytona International Speedway Week 8--with a trip to "Hotlanta" and the home of Petit Le Mans, Road Atlanta Week 7, thrown between them.  With no two circuits alike, a well balanced car should provide the magic formula to win!

Series 2 will see drivers contest three Championships, with at least one Championship applicable to all drivers. The Driver Championship is the main port of call where all participants will be in battle together.  Whether you race within a team effort or as an individual will determine whether you will compete for the Team or Privateer Championship.

When does all of this begin?  Series 2 is scheduled to roll off 25th July and run through consecutive weeks until the series finale on the 12th September. Eight weeks of intense racing against all manner of skill levels in a series that is very good for those that want to learn their trade and get faster and more consistent by racing with like minded individuals!

Well, I hope you will enjoy your retirement! And, we will enjoy it if you include FM6 and EZT as a part of that retirement!

Hi Guy where do I get the plate and decals for stock hatch two ? and does any one want to be a team

When your in the livery editor, go to apply vinyls. From there you can do a search, I think it's the menu button on the controller. Best way is just search Neo as creator, it will bring up all his shared vinyls.

I'll team up with you if I find a car I like. Which car are you running as we have to run different cars?

Sure, you can run the Scion. Right now I'm thinking the Alpha or the Civic. Looking at the signups, I like to see all cars represented.

I've been running my old team name Shark Bite Racing. We can make a new one if you'd like. Any prefrerence on the sponsor? Unfortunately I can't share my team logo as I downloaded the shark vinyl. If I have time maybe I'll try and make a new one that I can share with you.

Shark Bite Racing sound good to me, I may have to hook up with one of you guys because I tried to find the plate and decals by putting in EZT Neo 45, EZT Neo, Neo, and I come up with nothing :-( and I did follow your instructions ???????

Go to apply a vinyl shape, then new layer. From there you can do a search. Enter Neo's gamer tag as creator and they should come up. Make sure after you enter his tag you go down and click on search.

I guess I'm going to go with the Civic. It feels the best out of the one's I tried, though I'm not yet getting the times I want. Are you ever on in the mornings? That's usually the best time to catch me.

Ok that worked but hw do you unlock them so you can change the size on some and add your plate number ?

You can't unlock them anymore DJ. You should still be able to adjust the size though. For the number plate, just put a white vinyl over the number field amd then put your number in over that.

And I'll be running the Civic.

Even though I will not be racing Forza 6, I still try to keep up on what is going on with any of our Team EZT.

Thanks Tom. I don't have very high hopes right now as I'm struggling with the handling on these cars. Can't quite get it to run the way I like. I'm sure with a bit more work I'll get closer.

I took care of the number in the sign up section DJ. And yes, you can add your own decals as long as you have the required vinyls. I am using AmsOil as my main sponsor.

Brought my times down to a 38.7 anyone up to getting on today for some practice and banter?

High 40s, low 41s for me.

I don't think I'll get down much further than the high to mid 38's. On to the race tomorrow fellas.

Wow!!  Was that the ugliest first night or what!?!?  Start at 20:30 and finish at 23:00!  Does that ever suck!  Well, can only go up from here!

Just as well I couldn't make it then. I would have had to leave before the race began anyway.

Hi guys, didn't make the race because my car wouldn't load, I think I know what was wrong. Could one of load a multi player race with the setting for stock hatch and send me an invite, I want to make sure I don't miss anymore races. just send me a message of when we could do this, sorry to be such a pain in the butt, I have been away from this for a long time and need to get  up to speed.

Any one up for some Long Beach Practice. We all traveled 388 miles from Laguna to Long Beach and deserve a little track time from that long 5 and half hour journey!

DJ, that is a mandatory part of the build. Was it a Race transmission instead of a Sport tranny?

The lobby settings cannot be set to pick out specific parts. It had to be either PI, HP, or weight.

And Neo, the race clutch is optional.

thanks guys, this time I printed the specs so I can just look at them in front of me rather than walking bake and forth my computer to my xbox in the other room.
I am going to try to be online between 8 and 8:30pm evry night until the next race, that's EST time.

Hey guys, sorry about missing the first two races. Had I known my work schedule would be so hectic I may not have signed up. I should be good for this week though.    Running what should be A lobby times, though typically I don't qualify that well. We'll see how it goes.
