That's the picture of my old one. It would flex with the best of them. My new rail crawler will climb up my couch. Just got to work on getting some 4" traxxis big bore shocks and installing my new R3 transmission.

i just blow up my speedcontrol on my revo. I read on the internet that you can change the revo to a crawler. I'm going with a 3s Novak rock star 55 turn motor and ESC. You want all the torque and brake from ESC you can get. Droop setup with dig and sprung without dig. I make my own links, so if you need anything, just let me know. |

The one in my pic it's a venom creeper RTR. The axial's is great stock, but all of them need tinkering to make them competitive. I've got a RC 4wd rock rider chassis, that im building. Look up on youtube RC4wd bully, thats what mine will be when im done. Without the body.

I thought I would start a thread here before I hijacked Dab's thread. Sorry about that Dab. That's one of my favorite hobbies as well, and I've built 3 of my own. I'll post some pictures of my rigs over the next couple of days. I finished 3rd in Summertown Tennessee at a competition, which was my first and only so far. I'm currently working on a new build with a RC 4wd Rock Rider tube chassis.

I get most of my stuff from ckrccrawlers.com. They seem to be good on prices and decent shipping. I also bird dog Ebay for used competition stuff. Lot of the comp guys only use there stuff once or twice. You can find some shocks and ESC's on there pretty cheap.

I have the rail buggy for a while and I havn't messed with it yet. Going to go with a 3s Novak brushless goat system with the Christmas money I've recieved. Now I'm looking for a set of Traxxis Big Bore shocks on Ebay. In the picture of the rail, it's got the regular transmision. I've put the linkage and servo for the dig unit on the new transmission. Rock Crawling is almost as addictive as Xbox!!!

They can be a lot of fun. I'm using air shocks at the moment. Going droop setup when I get enough money. I believe I used 40 weight, i'll check when I get home.
