I'm almost done with all the Ferraris and will race any night hit me up for tunes send message to me or KickedAXE on my friends list

Well, I'm ready to race with you or anyone else.

I had a good time racing in the VM Stock Hatch Series and finished 3rd in the Privateers.

If VM isn't going to support Forza 4 much anymore, maybe EZT can and run our own races.
I can help in something.

How about we pick 5 cars in five classes built to the top of a class(any build you want as long as it fits the class) and pick a day and time and have 5 10 lap "run what you brung" races.

Sounds good.

Like A through E Class cars with no top 100 cars, or any car?

I've been running my career, trying to see how long it would take to finish, but I'm still only at 36%.
I use whatever lower class comes up and just let the came upgrade or downgrade my cars.

Half the time, if I don't choose a Leaderboard car, 2 or 3 AI cars will beat me.

Here's a list for the first race:

A-class- 2005 Acura NSX @ Suzuka Circuit Full Circuit

If this is ok decide on a day and time that is good and post it. Since it is just for fun it can be run anytime enough people are available to participate. Lobby results can be posted here or not as the people running in the race see fit. If there is enough interest it could be come a weekly series or become an EZT points race series but first lets just see if anyone is really going to show up.

E-class- 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Stradale @ Circuit de Catalunya National Circuit: 1:35.2xx

D-class- 2010 Abarth 500 esseesse @ Rally di Positano Full Circuit: 1:10.1xx

C-class- 1971 AMC Javlin AMX @ Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca:1:47.086

B-class- 2000 Audi S4 @ Hockenheimring Full Circuit: 2:03.544. My A570 Escort Cosworth time was 2:03.8XX

A-class- 2005 Acura NSX @ Suzuka Circuit Full Circuit: 2:20.XXX. I couldn't beat my LB time of 2:16.xxx with the A570 Ford Escort Cosworth. Better tuning might help.


I probably could race any evening except Wed. and sun.

Mon or Tues. might be the best days in the US time zones.

Hey Axe, would you mind sending over the set ups for these cars? Would save me a ton of time. Then I only have to do some quick fine tuning and I'm good to go.

AXE didn't specify a setup, he just said a class. sounds like any build for each class.
That's what I did.
I built up to the class limit.

I sent them Mako but if you don't like them you can make any changes you want as long as it stays in class. I sent them to you to Tom so you can try them but any build want is ok by me. Hopefully more people, EZT members or not, will be interested. Tell your friends.

Also I would suggest no Traction control or stability but that can be set by vote.

I never use Stability, but use TC on RWD cars.

Thanks bud. I'm sure they're fine. Your builds are always competitive.

I never use any assists anyways, so that's a non issue for me.

When we get a date and time I'll post it around and see if we can get some outside interest.

Some real fun stuff here Axe!! Always did like those little Abarth's in the lower classes. Just stand on the gas and slide them around the corners!

I'm open for most any night. Sat night would be the best, but many don't race that night. A weeknight is fine as long as we have an 8:00 pm start time so I can sneak some racing in before I leave for work.

Well....... this is going nowhere fast ! Guess it would help if more than four of us logged in.

Been thinkin'... why don't we all pick an evening that will work for all of us. Then, have one of us pick a car and class - one car - open build and tune too the max PI - can even rotate among the participants as to weekly choices. Then get together and race until we get bored. Keep it casual and simple, leaving it open for anybody to jump in. Mebbe start like this and see where it goes. Can announce a weekly 'Free4All' with the day, car, PI and an invitation. I dunno, just thinkin' out loud...

I've been getting more and more time invested in iRacing, but I'm not ready to hang it up with F4 - it's just too good of a format.

btw, I just ordered myself  an early Christmas present - a set of ClubSport v2 pedals! Sure hope I like them, as it's gonna be beans and Ramen Noodles until Easter...

I would love them if I had them and the wheel that goes with them.
Then I would be trying out iRacing and waiting for Project cars.

Any suggestions on a night guys? Would love to make this happen, even if it's only a few of us.

I haven't tested the cars lately. I've been racing in a Series with the Mini Cooper. 2 more races to go at Motegi East and Catalunya East.

Hey guys, I was on with Coot yesterday. We're planning on doing a little get together next week one morning, probably tues or wed. Just to try out our tunes and get back in the racing groove. Everyone invited to join in.

8:15 pm EST tonight (12/8/2014) I will open a lobby and if anyone shows up we will race. If no one shows by 8:35 the room will be gone.

Sorry for being away for a couple days guys, was a bit under the weather this past weekend.

I can't make it tonight Axe. If I had known earlier I could have planned ahead for it.

I still plan on being on either tomorrow or wed morning (poss both) around 11 am est.

Doing a mod on my CSR wheel - will be down for a few days unless I REALLY screw something up.

Apologies for not being around much guys. I've been tied up at work all week with meetings with engineering. Hope to be on for a while Sat night to run some laps.

My power was out from 9:20 PM Thurs until 1:15 AM Sat. due to rain storm with high winds.

So back online today,
I'll be out of house today from 5:30 PM till around 7:30 PM. That is Pacific Time.
Trying to fine tune my Javelin.

I got on late Sat night to do some practicing and my upshift paddle broke! I have my shifters, both the H gate and the sequential, so no problem there, but I have to do some sort of repair as the paddle is hanging and interfering with turning. I'm going to try some industrial adhesive I got at work and see if it holds. I don't really relish the thought of taking the whole wheel apart.

Wheel repaired!! Switched over to my sequential shifter and running just as fast as ever. Got some cool paints for these rides, tunes pretty much set, ready to rumble!!!

OK guys, let's do this. Would a Sat night be better or a weeknight? As soon as we decide we'll set a date.

Is the race still on for this Sat?

AAR Oneshot can race if the Time is 10 PM Eastern.
If it would be 9 PM Eastern he would miss the 1st race and then race on the 2nd race.
I gave Oneshort the car list and tracks.

Is this race event still a go for Sat. Jan. 17?

Seems like there has not been an event notice on the Anytime Racing Event other than a few EZT members discussing it.

I improved my time, in the E Class Alpha Romero GTA, on Catalunya National  from 1:35's to 1:33"s by tweaking the build and using the Forza 4 Tuning calculator. I had a 1:32.8 with slight penalty.

Update in lap time.
I got a 1:32.7 on Catalunya by more tweaking.
I uploaded the replay to my Storefront.

I just wanted to stop by and say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of team EZT. If you guys find any good FM4 racing series let me know please. I am running at virtual1 and TORA US atm. Haven't been to VM in a while because they haven't had much FM4 at US friendly times. Anywho, thought I would stop by and say hey to you all I haven't seen in a while, take care fellas and hope to see you on the track soon.

Hey, Midnight! Thanks for checking in. Been slow around here lately, as a lot of the guys went to FM5. But I'll see you tonight at the TORA US event  .  Been messin' with iRacing lately, pretty much gave up on Forza, although I still think Forza 4 is ideal for on-line leagues. I think Mikey at TORA US may have a few events in mind. Happy New Year, and catch ya later.
