Nice, Boss!! The numbers appear to be larger than the template, though.

Well, after a few changes for myself this week, it has meant disappearing into the paint shop for a couple of hours and well, im not going to complain in that department. I do aim to be inspired by a replica or two along the way, something usually different, but appealing and put my wee stamp on it. In the end, well the wife selected a Sam Osborne picture from the Mini Challenge in either 2009 or 2010, if only the logos, could be stretched over the windows, his 2011 paint is a cracker



unfortunately though, they dont, so this is my take on the earlier paint he raced.







Unfortunately the lime green just did not work on the car, it really was a sunglasses moment, especially as using cockpit view, your eyes were drawn to that, rather than the bloody track, which probably isnt going to make me too many friends, so what else can i say, Well, its very green

One thing, though. The number on the rear is supposed to be on the bumper.

Guys, just a reminder...the numbers on the number plates should not be changed regarding size, font, or color. You may remove numbers as needed (e.g. driver number 4 should remove first and last "0" and center the "4" while "40" should remove one "0" and center the "4" and "0"). The number on the front and rear bumpers may be changed as far as color only in addition to the removal of "extra 0s" as needed.

Speaking of videos, I finally downloaded the iMovie app and practiced with it on a video of a test lap. My car is a little plain by comparison and I know my times are slow, but...





I'm going to try to make a decent video of the race too. The bad part is having to record off of the screen with my ipad camera.

Ok, here it is. I'll replace the footage after the first race. I caught the edge of the screen a couple of times, plus the cars were ghosted on a few occassions. I figure when I get some actual race footage with more cars and no ghosting it will look better. This footage was from a practice session with me and Neo last night.

That was so damn cool. Cant wait to post the final product on VM and TORA and the like. Brilliant!!!

xess i would love to run that paint in green. hate i missed todays race but i plan on getting back in the groove of things around here being married and all now lol.

Enjoyed last night, a nice relaxed atmosphere and good clean racing, passing the early hours of Monday Morning's along very nicely. I qualified fifth, finished the race fifth and having produced one mistake in the race which handed Bobwithajob fourth place, spent the next 17 laps trying to catch him up again, as he was trying to catch PRT Vtec as well.
