The first four races are in the books and we have had four different winners! After four races Puck and unca are tied for the lead and Team EZT has a comfortable lead in the team championship.
No race this week due to the Easter holiday.

Hey guys, a quick update on our Nascar races.
Our season 1 feedback thread indicated a want for more road courses. I thought it might have increased participation which is why I scheduled them in there.
I am now thinking that it has actually been a detriment, as it seems to have divided the field between oval and circuit racers.
I have posted a thread asking whether we should revise the schedule during the break. If you have any thoughts on the matter, please post them here: http://www.flrleague.org/t5929-season-2-update-question#71707
Thanks for your help.

I like the schedule,I like the mix of road courses and ovals...I consider myself a circuit racer 1st but I do pretty well on ovals because I use a wheel. I think most Nascar guys would like to stick to ovals though.

Except me, I am slow on road tracks. My MS wheel is not too great for Forza 4. The braking is not easy to get right. I switched to non-ABS to try to see if I can improve.

What are your brake settings Tom? I remember when I used the MS wheel my brake pressure was only set around 85% due to the pedal being sooooo sensitive. Also, have you tried the tennis ball or sponge behind the brake pedal trick? I never tried it myself, but I've read many times it works quite well.
You can also adjust your deadzones to get the response more in the middle of the travel. Try increasing your inside deadzone to 5 or 10%, and leave your outside at 100%.

Hmmm... OK I have a sponge under my Brake pedal. I've been using ABS.

Just to update you all, the schedule will stand as posted (there's only two more road courses anyway). I've posted the full explanation at FLR.
This weeks race is at Motegi Speedway. Hope to see you there!
