| Well,, all of a sudden last night, my wheel turned all the way to the right when I was going to run a car in Hot Laps. My controller works OK, so that means it is the wheel. I will take it apart today to determine if it is the circuit board. I have 2 wheels, but they are different versions. The old version (#1) has 3 circuit boards where the ver. 2 has only one. So no racing untill I can get a working wheel. I can still use my controller for painting and any other thing. I'm not good at racing with the controller though. |

| I have two MS Racing wheels that are in great working order. I don't use them anymore but plan to keep one around for back up until I get one of the new Fanatecs. Anyway, If your wheel ends up shooting craps on ya and you end up needing one, let me know. I'm sure we can work something out. |

I have left over circuit boards for the newer versiion TomCat! Shall I ups the guts to you?
Wow Solleft! You are amazing. Yes the Ver 2 has only one circuit board and I'm positive that mine is bad. I like the way the Version 2 model handles in game. I got my version 1 working, but the Force Feedback does not work as good. Too bad Microsoft does not make parts availabe for these wheels. The must have a lot of parts left over when they quit building them. I wonder where their warehouse is located. The wheels were assembled in Mexico, I believe. It would be super if I could get a circuit board for my Ver 2 wheel. I'm still studying if I should add a precision bearing to the wheel shaft or put in a Shim ring next to the ring that is already on the shaft. The shaft only needs to be a little more snug to make it tighter. |
